By booking any service with Walks with Emma, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

1. Meet & Greet

A complimentary meet & greet is required before the first booking wherever possible. This allows us to get to know one another, discuss your pet's needs and ensure the service is the right fit.

2. Registration

A completed client registration form must be submitted before services begin. It is the owner's responsibility to ensure all information provided is accurate and kept up to date.

3. Pet Health & Behaviour

Owners agree to disclose any relevant information regarding:

• Medical conditions

• Medication requirements

• Allergies

• Behavioural concerns

• Anxiety or aggression

• Any history that may affect the safety of the pet or others

Walks with Emma reserves the right to refuse or discontinue services if important information has not been disclosed.

4. Veterinary Treatment

In the event of an illness or emergency, every reasonable effort will be made to contact the owner or emergency contact before seeking veterinary treatment.

Where this is not possible, Walks with Emma is authorised to obtain veterinary treatment believed to be in the best interests of the pet. Any veterinary costs remain the responsibility of the owner.

5. Home Access

Where house keys or access codes are provided:

• They will be stored securely.

• They will never be labelled with your address.

• They will only be used for the agreed booking.

6. Payment

Payment for dog walks and drop-in visits is due prior to the start of the booked service unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Pet sitting bookings made more than 30 days in advance require a 50% non-refundable deposit to secure the booking.

The remaining 50% balance is due 14 days before the booking start date.

Per sitting bookings made within 30 days of the booking start date require full payment to secure the booking.

7. Cancellations

Dog walks & drop-in visits:

• More than 48hours’ notice - full refund.

• Less than 48 hours' notice – non-refundable.

Pet sitting:

• The 50% deposit is non-refundable once the booking has been secured.

• If a pet sitting booking is cancelled less than 7 days before the booking start date, the full booking fee is non-refundable/ payable.

If Walks with Emma needs to cancel due to illness, emergency or unforeseen circumstances, every effort will be made to rearrange the booking or provide a full refund where applicable.

8. Safety

Walks with Emma reserves the right to decline or end a walk or visit if it is considered unsafe due to severe weather, aggressive behaviour or circumstances beyond reasonable control.

9. Liability

Every reasonable care will be taken whilst your pet is in my care.

However, Walks with Emma cannot be held responsible for illness, injury, loss or damage resulting from:

• Undisclosed medical or behavioural conditions

• Pre-existing health conditions

• Circumstances outside of reasonable control

10. Photographs

Photographs of your pet may occasionally be taken during walks or visits.

These will only be shared on social media or the Walks with Emma website where permission has been provided by the owner.

11. Changes to these terms

Walks with Emma reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. The latest version will always be available on the website.
